Artists from East, the land of Rising Sun - Asia

I am looking for Artists who are Asian - American, who are interesting in group show in the hospital gallery space in May which is celebrated in US as an Asian Month. In the discipline of visual formats - traditional or nontraditional in  painting, drawing, installation and  multimedia( 2 dimensional objects only.)

Would you please send me less than three pictures at a time because due to the small capacity of my computer, and read the letter I am enclosed here.

Artists from East, the Land of Rising Sun - Asia

The United States of America celebrates the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month – every May. It is “an opportunity to share in the accomplishments of all Asian Americans, the third largest minority group — and the second fastest-growing group — in the United States.” In addition to proclaiming special heritage month, the U.S. government as well as several public institutions celebrates America’s diversity through the arts.

Lincoln Hospital is a health care institution in the Bronx, which promotes the enrichment of diverse communities by sharing the arts with Bronx residents and all New Yorkers, will better understand and respect each other in many aspects. And they will appreciate the differences and contributions in our community as a whole.

Sunny Soe is the guest curator for the Exhibition in Lincoln Hospital this May 2011.

Ms. Soe is known as a devoted artist, who lives and works in Mott Haven, is motivated to share arts in the community.

The distinguished Artists from various countries in Asia - the Land of Rising Sun, who are residing in the New York City area now, will be exhibiting their art objects at Lincoln Hospital Gallery Space.

The exhibition will be held:

Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center-1^st Floor

at 234 East 149 streets and Morris Avenue Bronx,

 from May 1st to May 31^st, 2011,

and open Monday through Friday 10AM -6PM. 

*Opening Reception: May 6, 2011(Friday 5:00PM – 7:00PM.)
