Event Description

BEDSTUYLE is the powerful new album from Bedstuy resident, Brooklyn Shanti

Dubbed the Indian Bambaataa, he is the Universal Zulu Nation's cultural ambassador to the motherland. His unique and innovative artistic voice has enabled the transformation of South Asia’s appreciation for hip-hop. The energy in the sounds of Bedstuyle showcase Brooklyn Shanti’s spectacular range as a singer/songwriter, emcee, and producer, and features guest appearances from Karsh Kale, the Midival Punditz, and Jahdan Blakkmore among others.

Join us on Sept 4th for the premiere listening party on the impeccable sound system at Louis and Chan's 303 club.

The afterparty sounds will be provided by iBomba's DJ Ushka - a Sri Lankan-born, Thailand-raised, Brooklyn-living deejay and cultural organizer. Her deejaying blends global bass styles spanning south asia, west africa, the americas, and more. Hear more at

Hosted by QUE BAJO?!'s Geko Jones.
