Beginning Flamenco Workshop for Adults and Teens Con Gisele Assi Tuesdays 6 PM- 7 PM Sept. 9-Oct. 28 8 Sessions: $160 prepaid * or $25 per session *Lotus Membership ($25 Annual) required for prepaid discount This workshop is to introduce the basic techniques for arm work (Braceo) and footwork (Zapateado) of the Flamenco dance. The workshop will include also Flamenco rhythms (compas) in fun excersises for flamenco clapping (palmas flamencas )and basic footwork. The class starts with a warm up for good posture and upper body and arm work. Class will culminate with choreography and and combination steps to be taken to a more advanced level.
