Event Description

BUTOH CLASS WITH MIZU DESIERTO JUNE 18th

Hosted by Vangeline Theater

  • Workshop description:
  • BODIES OF WATER: This exploration of inner and outer environment through butoh imagery and contemplative dance awareness will begin from a microscopic look at the role of water in our bodies--traveling through cells, tissues, organs & saliva--eventually becoming larger bodies of water--ocean, river, tide.  The workshop is a means of creating an experiential landscape to research the essence of our nature, through both internal and external landscapes of fluidity.
