Chen Dance Center's "newsteps"

Chen Dance Center presents another edition of “newsteps,” its semi-annual emerging choreographers series. Through “newsteps,” founded in 1994, the Center has supported and presented hundreds of young dancers and choreographers. Chosen through an open audition, the choreographers receive a stipend, rehearsal space at the Center, and 3 public performances in their intimate theater. Selected for the May 11-13 concerts are choreographers Joshua Dunn, Molly Mingey, Deborah Gladstein with Helen Yee, Quinn Dixon & Bree Nasby, Ryan Pliss and Mary Grace McNally.
