The Playwrights Realm presents Jen Silverman’s CRANE STORY Directed by Katherine Kovner, September 6 - October 1 at the Cherry Lane Theater, 38 Commerce Street.

Inspired by the Japanese legend of the Crane Wife, Jen Silverman’s odyssey unfolds in the space between two worlds as Cassis embarks on a quest to save her brother’s ghost. Crane Story interweaves puppetry, music, and folklore to tell an imaginative, haunting (and humorous) story that will captivate the hearts of audiences and never let go.
