Event Description
New York-based orchestra Ensemble 212 and Michael Mao Dance present a stunning visual and musical collaboration titled "Cultural Convergences" celebrating NYC Immigrant Heritage week. The performance features the music of award-winning composer Huang Ruo and the world premiere of Mahler's Der Abschied from Das Lied von der Erde in a new version for large chamber ensemble by Yoon Jae Lee. Mezzo-Soprano Hyona Kim is the featured soloist and guest conductor Kyunghun Kim will lead the ensemble.
