Dance Enthusiast's Dance-Art-Fusion Family Event

The Dance Enthusiast, founded and directed by Christine Jowers, will hold its annual Dance-Art-Fusion Party, a family event with participation, and this year a celebration of the site’s 8th birthday, complete with yummy birthday cake. The evening will start with socializing and special projects in both dance and the visual arts for children and families, followed by a 45-minute dance performance (starting at 7 PM) of the Brooklyn Ballet and that unique hip-hopper Chrybaby Cozie. Also on hand will be creative visual artist Hu Bing, noted NYC art dealer Cheryl McGinnis, and artist Chelsea Hrynick Browne, who has some great activities up her sleeve, including creating snowflakes. A cross between a salon performance and a party at a friend’s house, the event offers children and families a happy and fun entrée to the passion and creativity of dance and visual arts.
