Delicate Enchantments presented by the NARS Foundation

November 22 – December 15, 2013
6 – 5PM

The New York Art Residency & Studios (NARS) Foundation is excited to present Delicate Enchantments, exploring the nature of subtle interactions in daily life. The exhibition features selections from the work of 2013 Season II Residency Artists: Guy Ben-Ari, Madison Bycroft, Catherine Connolly, Natasha Frisch, Kyoung Eun Kang, and Liliya Lifanova, in addition to past Residency Artists: Katrina Chamberlin, Suzanne Goldenberg, and Katya Grokhovsky. Some works explore this interaction through direct engagement with others and their surroundings, focusing on the intimacy and beauty. Some pieces favor a formalistic approach, utilizing the object and its history of encounters. Each piece is imbued with the enchanting experience established through the dialogue with everyday life.
