"One of the rare gifts that theatre bestows upon us from time to time—a powerful and passionately produced piece, raising important questions about the world we live in today." -

"Fresh, honestly emotional, heartbreaking, and true" - Show Showdown

Echoing the Greeks, Def Poetry and Ntozake Shange, playwright Takeo Rivera weaves a stunning ensemble exploration of war and masculinity. With the soldiers home from Iraq but wars still waging abroad, Goliath provides a way to look deeper into what we do during times of war, what behavior becomes excusable and what it means to love when violence is part of the norm.

Winner of Planet Connections Theatre Festivity Awards for Outstanding Overall Production of a New Play, Outstanding Direction, and Outstanding Ensemble

Written by Takeo Rivera
Directed by Alex Mallory
Featuring Samantha Cooper, Dontonio Demarco, Natalia Duong*, Edgar Eguia, Kenneth Heaton, Iliana Inocencio*, Monique Paige and Nabil Viñas
