Event Description

Renowned puppet/mask maker Ralph Lee presents his Mettawee River Theatre Company in "The Ringdove," drawn from The Panchatantra, a collection of allegorical tales whose origins reach back over 2,000 years, to ancient India.  The production incorporates a range of fantastic masks, puppets and other visual elements, manned by a cast of puppeteers/actors/singers.  Live music accompanies, performed on saxophone, hammered dulcimer, vibraphone and percussion.  Ralph Lee's creations have been featured in productions of numerous companies, including the Metropolitan Opera, NY Shakespeare Festival, Lincoln Center Repertory Theatre, even that naughty landshark on Saturday Night Live!
