Event Description
Nakanaka: On Ensemble from LA, mixes Japanese taiko, throat singing with contemporary grooves and beats to create an original World sound. Yuka, a singer/songwriter from Sado Island Japan, bridges Japanese and English, folk and the avant-garde. With New York's Shanir Blumenkranz, Barbara Merjan and Kaoru Watanabe as well.
This will be the final in the Nakanaka series until fall.
