Join us for a Free Family Workshop in Sunset Park!

Weft and Warp: Uncommon Weaving

Families will learn how to use household materials such as ribbon, fabric, colored paper, and tinfoil to create personal hand-held weavings! This workshop is inspired by Hongseon Jang’s woven artwork, currently on view at the NARS Foundation Gallery. Come take an educator-led tour of the exhibition “In Praise of Folly” and make a colorful woven piece to take home with you. This workshop will be taught by the artist Maria Hupfield.
