 the book to take part) at 5:15 p.m. and hear author Rima Fujita read t
 he dramatic story of a magical journey through the Himalayas on the ba
 ck of a crane. While on a mission to find a lost snow leopard’s home
 , a brother and sister learn responsibility for the precious environme
 nt around them. Written in Tibetan, English, and Japanese this tale is
  decorated with vibrant, lush artwork that celebrates the Tibetan land
 scape. The book includes a foreword by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and
  Richard Gere.\n \nAt 7:15 p.m. the author joins environmental scient
 ists and other champions of the region such as the representative of H
 is Holiness the Dalai Lama Lobsang Nyandak, activist Tendor Dorjee, an
 d Jivamukti Yoga Center Founder Sharon Gannon in a short discussion on
  the economic and environmental issues confronting the Himalayan regio
 n. Refreshments will be served. A book signing follows.\n \nRima Fuji
 ta is also author of Wonder Talk, officially selected as recommended r
 eading by the United Nations, and the award winning TB Aware. Rima has
  received special recognition from several Nobel Peace Laureates inclu
 ding the Dalai Lama, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Betty Williams.\n \n
