The Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance presents The Refugee Crisis: Past and Present.

Join the Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance as Academy Award winning filmmaker Chris Tashima presents Visas and Virtue, the film inspired by the true story of Holocaust rescuer Chiune Sugihara, known as “The Japanese Schindler.” Mr. Tashima will share personal remarks on his film and take questions from the audience.

Following the screening will be a panel discussion featuring two of the leading experts on the current global refugee situation, as well as first-person testimony from a young woman displaced from her country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, who found refuge in the U.S.
