Event Description

Back by popular demand!  One of the most confusing (and frightening) areas for many beginner filmmakers is dealing with legal issues. The process of making a movie involves many contracts, legal forms, and in some unfortunate situations, lawsuits.

After more than three decades practicing entertainment law, Steven Beer’s expertise in the arena is varied and deep. Drawing from his extensive legal and content consulting experience, Steven will speak on pertinent themes ranging from independent film distribution to music licensing to protecting and building careers for young artists in the industry.

According to Steven, there has never been a better time to be a content creator!
