SENRYU is a 250-years old form of traditional Japanese poetry which tends to be about human foibles, while haiku tend to be about nature.

Katsura Kan is a Butoh dancer from Kyoto, Japan. Featuring dancers from Japan, Mexico, Argentina, United Kingdom, USA and France, and live musicians- including a pianist monk. The Vangeline Theater’s mission is to educate the public about Butoh, promoting an understanding Butoh dance history and its social and cultural significance; to connect Butoh to other art forms and disciplines and to build community through Butoh. www.vangeline.com www.katsurakan,com
