Latest Activity: Sep 2, 2014
We seek to create live concerts that allow our audience to experience mindfulness and positivity by combining meditation practices with live music. We incorporate Eastern philosophy and meditation practices with a sophisticated multi-media concert and performance. Through sincere interactions between musicians, performers, and audience members we hope to bring thoughtful inspiration, physical and psychological well-being to all involved. Zen music can provide enlightenment by helping audiences realize the Buddha-nature that exists within everyone and everything. We believe that the integration of music and the Zen Arts is one of the best ways to help people resolve their emotional issues and heighten personal awareness.
We have six incredible composers, who have been writing unique pieces for this show, and we have enlisted a host of wonderful musicians. Some of them will be playing Chinese folk instruments that are rarely heard on Western stages. We will be creating an entirely different atmosphere from most concerts. The room will be adorned with candles, incense, and guests will be given relaxing teas to create an encompassing atmosphere of peaceful relaxation. A host will talk the audience through simple meditation practices designed to heighten their auditory and mental experience.
