Pan Asian Repertory Theatre
Founded in 1977, the Pan Asian Repertory Theatre is the largest producer of Asian American theatre with regular international and national touring residencies. Under the direction of Tisa Chang, the company's renowned masterpieces from Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Tibet, and Asian America bring under-represented themes to American audiences while deepening understanding of Asian American cultural heritage. Promiment productions include Asian classics and new works such as The Joy Luck Club, Shogun MacBeth and Imelda. Check out their current production NewWorks '10, five weeks of new works by diverse artists.
NEWWORKS 2010 is an expansion of Pan Asian’s successful ongoing programs: 2+3 Nights Only! and Emerging Artists Forum. Includes the new comedy CHING CHONG CHINAMAN and solo one-act plays.
