Assistant Professor in Acting
Position: Full-time, 9 month, tenure-accruing faculty position
The University of Florida School of Theatre and Dance seeks an Assistant Professor in Acting with expertise in the multiple domains of classical and contemporary acting for stage as well as basic and advanced techniques for on-camera acting and/or acting for digital media. Active participation in our learning community while finding innovative ways to engage in critical discourse across the arts and other disciplines.
Responsibilities: Teach, develop, and revise undergraduate and graduate curricula in acting with particular attention to on-camera performance. Other responsibilities may include:
Minimum Qualifications: MFA or PhD in theatre or closely related field. Evidence of aptitude for working towards structural change in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
