Open Call for Applicants: Fall Session
Turkey Land Cove (TLC) Foundation is currently accepting applications for our next retreat session which runs from (September 15th- December 15th). Grant application and supporting materials are due by Friday, June 15th, 2012.
TLC Foundation offers a unique grant opportunity for motivated women to pursue their professional, educational and artistic goals, away from the distractions of daily life. TLC Foundation provides a quiet space for women to progress toward a defined goal, complete a project or develop tools to propel their lives in a new direction.
The concept for TLC Foundation began more than 15 years ago when its founder began offering space to women in various stages of transition. One woman needed time and space to reflect on a major career change. Another was ready to finish her book. All the women benefitted from the breathtaking setting, the solitude of the space, and the founder's welcoming hospitality. Today, TLC Foundation is committed to providing need-based grants to women.
The successful applicant will be a motivated woman with clear, definable goals to pursue artistic, professional, or educational advancement and a plan to implement those goals. We are looking for women with the following characteristics: leadership qualities, goal-directed, ambitious, motivated, and determined. She will be judged on the quality of her idea and the professionalism of her plan. We are currently limiting grants to women who are residents of New England or New York State.
