Call for Artists: Special Editions Residency 2011, Lower East Side Printshop

Call to Artists: Special Editions Residency 2011

Application deadline: Thursday, December 2, 2010

The Special Editions Residency Program is a competitive national residency that offers emerging artists the opportunity to complete a new body of work in printmaking. This work is created in collaboration with our experienced Master Printers, and is fully sponsored by the Lower East Side Printshop. Printmaking experience is not necessary, and artists working in all disciplines are encouraged to apply.

The Printshop will provide up to $4,000 honorarium, materials, studio access, technical assistance, project documentation, exhibition opportunities, and limited travel and accommodation stipends for artists residing outside New York.

Applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered by December 2, 2010. Applicants must be legal US residents. For more information about the Printshop, the Special Editions Residency, and application requirements, visit www.printshop.org

Hello Lower East Side Printshop,
Please come to Town Hall to announce this wonderful opportunity! Town Hall is a great place to meet people in the AA artistic community in NYC. Everyone gets two minutes to pitch. We follow the pitches with a potluck to provide a comfortable atmosphere to meet people and hang out. See more details and RSVP here - http://aaartsalliance.org/page/town-hall
Hope to see you!
