Crossing Art is seeking submissions for their Second Annual "Going Green II" juried group exhibition of local and international artists that will be on view at Crossing Art from June 14 – July 14, 2012.
"Going Green II" is a wonderful opportunity for all artists! Those selected will be FEATURED IN A GROUP EXHIBITION this June, in conjunction with the Queens Art Express. ONE AWARD RECIPIENT from the artists selected will RECEIVE A SOLO EXHIBITION IN 2013, potential GALLERY REPRESENTATION and a CASH PRIZE.
Proceeds collected from the “Going Green II” Open Call application fees are given directly to support the non-profit organization, Queens Council on the Arts (QCA). QCA provides support to arts organizations and individual artists in presenting their culturally diverse programs for the benefit of the community.
“Going Green II” supports not only an eco-friendly environment but raises issues about the environment in general. All creative persons are invited to submit their art work and/ or proposals. The submissions should have the power to transform, inspire and/ or promote public awareness of the current trends and the future fate of our natural habitat.
