The Public Programs Intern will support the Asian American Arts Alliance Director of Public Programs and the Programs and Communication Associate on day-to-day arts administration and upcoming arts programming initiatives.
This position is 12 hours a week and will run from late-January through May. $500 stipend for the full term of the internship.

--Support for Town Hall, a bi-monthly event for emerging artists, including planning and implementing logistics, designing marketing materials, reporting on participant data, creating a Tumblr event recap and contributing ideas for engaging constituents and outreach strategy
--Assist with research and design copy for the Alliance’s bi-weekly e-newsletter
--Enhance communication initiative through the Alliance’s website and social media
--Assist with other public programs, projects and community engagement initiatives as needed.
--Must be a recent grad or currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
--Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
--Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
--Must have ability to prioritize, anticipate, and work efficiently
--Must know Microsoft Office Suite; preferable to have some knowledge of In-Design, Photoshop and CMS
--Strong demonstrated interest in the arts, the Asian American community and an interest in the mission of the Asian American Arts Alliance
