The Korematsu Institute is looking for a part-time (avg of 10 hrs/week), paid, NYC-based, film festival consultant to start immediately and wrap up in August or September. Primary responsibilities are assisting with festival logistics & PR/outreach. The more festival/event planning experience, the better. Demonstrated interested in any/all of the following is a plus: civil rights, ethnic studies, community work, sports.
RightsFest is a pan-ethnic civil rights film festival sponsored by the Korematsu Institute. The festival travels to a new city each year and takes on a new sub-theme. This year's sub-theme is civil rights and sports.
