Asian American Arts Alliance

The Asian American Writers' Workshop (http://www.aaww.org) has a shared office space available in its Chelsea loft this June. We are renting out space in Suite 603, a 230 square foot corner office. The room is a radiant sunlit space with three large street-facing windows and a built-in bookshelf. Photos are available here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/26312828@N00/sets/72157626453282615/.

The space has large six-foot-tall windows that face the streets, as well as a tin ceiling, decorative mouldings, new carpet, a new coat of paint, and track lights that were just installed. Our floor is occupied by socially progressive organizations--making it have a cool, youthful feel unlike that of your typical office space. The main spaces possess new bamboo wood flooring and newly installed carpeting. We can also negotiate the possibility of conference or event space rental as part of the deal. We possess a kitchen, microwave, two bathrooms, external area cleaning service and are located in the Flower District near FIT, the Ace hotel, Opening Ceremony, and several subway trains: the 1, N/R/Q/W and B/D/F/M. First, last and security are needed.

The office space would be shared with a small creative arts nonprofit that primarily uses the space as a storage space/mailing address. They are almost never around during regular business hours. The rent would be $1,000 for 2/3rds of the space. If interested, please email kchen@aaww.org.
