The University of Florida School of Theatre and Dance seeks an established dance professional with a primary specialization in modern/contemporary choreography and dance training practices for a tenure-eligible position at the rank of associate professor. The position offers the opportunity to share in leadership of an innovative dance curriculum within a school with a highly active performance program. Successful candidates must demonstrate professional accomplishment at a national and/or international level, with a strong choreographic voice and a particular focus on modern/contemporary technique. A record of innovation and excellence in teaching composition and repertory is also expected. The position in a leading public research institution calls for teaching and creative research to be informed by theoretical inquiry, professional practice, and service.
