Located in the historic Queens neighborhood of Sunnyside, Bliss on Bliss Art Projects is committed to providing an intimate venue for the showcase of new work by contemporary artists, writers, filmmakers, scholars, performers, and arts educators based in the tri-state area's most diverse borough. Founded and run by Philippine-born visual artist Ged Merino and his wife Carolina Morales from Bogota, Colombia

September 21, 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of the signing of Proclamation 1081.

Bliss on Bliss Art Projects looks back to it’s official launch last October 2011


We launched Bliss on Bliss Art Projects in October to coincide with Philippine Heritage month and invited Jessica Hagedorn, R Zamora Linmark and Paolo Javier to read from their latest books.
