Your Artistic Background/Mission
Dipti is writer and producer. Her plays tackle big issues such as fertility, gender roles, media, and identity, and have been performed at the Kraine Theater, Bank Street Theater, Labyrinth Theater, Punto Space, Brooklyn Reliquary Museum and the New York Theater Workshop. Her play, The Accident, debuted at the Frigid Festival in 2015 and won numerous awards including Best Drama. Her training includes Lyle Kessler’s Playwriting Masterclass (Strasberg Institute), Lyle Kessler’s Acting Salon, and the LAByrinth Theater Company’s Intensive Ensemble. She is the creative strategist of the 100 Monologues project created by Eric Bogosian, most recently collaborating with Peter Dinklage, Aasif Mandvi, and Winona Ryder. She received her B.A. from Cornell University and her M.A. from Cambridge University. She ‘daylights’ as a partner at Iris Worldwide, an advertising agency.
