Rochester native, Annie Heath, is a performance researcher and mover. Her collaborative group, Heath in Progress, has presented work at NYC venues such as CPR, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Dixon Place, TADA! Youth Theater, Triskelion Muriel Schulman Theater, West End Theater and Alchemical Theater Laboratory as well as out of state venues in MA, VT and Israel.
Annie is a performer for 2017-18 Randjelovic/Stryker Resident Commissioned Artist, RoseAnne Spradlin, and regularly practices with her artistic partner, Niki Farahani, in the development of their life-long duet, “as the crow flies.” They have developed their collaborative process in residency with La Escuela Profesional de Danza de Mazatlan and continue to expand their their creative process and language through investigating the melding of contact improvisation, bodywork and ‘performance’.
Annie has also danced for Gabriella Carmiahcel, Pavel Machuca-Zavarzin and Matthew Westerby Company.
