Your Artistic Background/Mission
Jee Hwang (b. 1984) graduated from Pratt Institute with a MFA degree in 2009. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Hwang immigrated with her family to Maryland in 2003. She have actively participated in many shows in NY including recent her first solo show at A.I.R. Gallery as 2009-2010 A.I.R. Emma Bee Bernstein Fellowship Artist. Live and work in Brooklyn, NY, she has been engaged in many nonprofit organizations as working intern at A.I.R. and the New York Foundation for the Arts, helping their public programs. Hwang had partial scholarship in Vermont studio program in 2010.

Hi Jee! Hope you can make it to our Town Hall tonight--it's in Brooklyn this time. Brooklyn Arts Council and New York Foundation for the Arts will be speaking, and there will be short performances of Fue Japanese Flute by Kaoru Watanabe, sword dancing by Jessica Chen, and a Korean dance micro-lesson by Karen Kriegel.
