In your own words, what is your ethnic identity? (for individuals)
Your Artistic Background/Mission
My work expresses our vulnerability, longing for a sense of home and connection. I use recycled cardboard, yarn and thread to create art that reminds us of hope and connection.

My works have been exhibited in New York, New Jersey, Louisiana and DC, including Alexandria Museum of Art, Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning, Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, Walls-Oritz Gallery and Center in Harlem, Hillyer Art Space in Washington DC and Rutgers University. I have also participated in Bushwick Open Studios for four years. My mural paintings are displayed at Borean Sun Bear Conservation Center and Ronald
Your Creative Influences
I was born in Hong Kong, currently living and working in NYC. Prior moving to the United States, I was living on the Pacific island of Guam. The experience of living in different cultural spaces have deeply influenced my creative practices.

Who Is My Neighbor? NYC Exhibition

Who Is My Neighbor? NYC is a six-artist exhibition at Walls-Ortiz Gallery and Center. Come visit my mixed media installation about three immigrant women's living space and their stories. The exhibition is on view through Dec 18, 2015
