it is a gift to see the beauty in the everyday, to realize the potential in the unwanted, and to be able to appreciate the imperfect. as a native new yorker artist this is my philosophy.
i consider myself an ECO-artist, finding inspiration in unique canvases that often end up as discards on the street. by reinventing these “canvases” as artwork, i play with the perception of need and want, by questioning recyclability. often you will find my art infused with my personal brand of poetry and print type that taps into the spirit and power of humanity.
like my heritage, i am a blend of east and west which gives me a head for pop-culture with an eye for design grounded in asian ingenuity but imbued with spirituality. the bold graphics of my pieces lends itself to a more modern aesthetic while still keeping with an organic chemistry.
