- Airi Katsuta was born in Nara, Japan in 1990. After living in Japan for six years, she moved half way around the world to Phoenix, Arizona where she resides today. She has recently been going back to Japan during the summer to embrace her heritage and culture, while her art relates to the exploration of the balance of life between the United States and Japan. She is in the process of receiving her BFA in photography at Arizona State University, expecting graduation on 2012.
