Tianqi Du performs internationally in China, Germany, Israel, and additional countries. While studying at the New England Conservatory, Mr. Du is dedicated to research and performance of the music of J. S. Bach.
Johann Sebastian Bach's Goldberg Variations, written for harpsichord, consists of a set of 30 variations bookended by two statements of an aria in G major One of the most important examples of variation form, the work is named for one of Bach's students, Johann Gottlieb Goldberg, who is often credits the first performer. Goldberg Variations is often referred to as the most ambitious composition ever written for keyboard history.
