8th Annual Martin Luther King Day Event

Sunday, January 19, 2014
3 – 7PM

WNYC would like to invite you and your community residents to the 8th Annual Martin Luther King Day Event at the Apollo Theater. Each year WNYC brings together scholars, community leaders and activists to engage in conversation about the legacy of King’s dream and his teachings. Presented as a part of the Apollo Uptown Hall series, this year’s event explores the immediate future of New York City through the lens of Dr. King’s moral compass with our hosts, Brian Lehrer and Novelist/Journalist Farai Chideya. The event is free and open to the public provided you register in advance at www.wnyc.org/events /font>http://www.wnyc.org/events> .
