CASTING CALL for actors and families of color! Web video for LGBTQ Marriage Equality, produced in collaboration with actor Alan Cumming. Show: “1,324 Reasons for Marriage Equality” Short Video for Web Distribution No Financial Compensation Available Director: Krystal Banzon We’re looking for individual actors as well as real families to showcase the diversity of the LGBTQ population. Casting: Straight Husband (person of color) – 35 years old or older Straight Wife (person of color) – 35 years old or older Child of Straight Couple (person of color) – 9-15 years old Two Queer Parents (people of color, Gay, Lesbian or Trans) – 35 years old or older Son of Queer Parents (person of color) – 9-15 years old Shooting: One Day Only, Sunday April 24th (Studio in the East Village) This short video is inspired by Empire State Pride Agenda’s document “1,324 Reasons for Marriage Equality in New York State” that catalogs the legal rights and duties that New York statutes and regulations confer on married individuals- many of which involve life and death matters. This video is being produced in collaboration with Alan Cumming. Actors of color, as well as diverse families, are strongly encouraged to contact us with a photo, and an acting résumé.
