Museum of Art and Design presents In the Studio with Heejung Cho

Join artist Heejung Cho as she interprets NYC by creating scenic sets that transform the everyday into an epic and magical stage. For the last two weeks of Richard Estes: Painting New York City, Cho will work in the Artist Studios producing two large panels of street views of Columbus Circle including local stores and landmarks. Visitors are invited to watch Cho and also to drop in to the studio. Visitors will learn from the artist firsthand about how she approaches projects and the her ideas about the role that architecture plays on memory and experience.
