Murray HillIn the first short film of the series, ‘Murray Hill’, you’ll glimpse a bittersweet tale of youth and missed connections set at the eponymous Long Island Railroad station.

Bowne StreetMargaret I. Carman Green, better known as Bowne Street Park amongst Flushing natives, is a small urban garden that functions both as a short cut and a place of retreat. ‘Bowne Street’ is a story about immigrant siblings navigating life in Flushing.

HomeworkYoung Hee, a recent arrival from Korea, seeks help with her son’s first grade English homework and discovers that kindness has a way of appearing, even from the streets of Flushing, Queens.

HandballWhile Rohit helps Andy move, he discovers a token from their adolescence. The two friends in their late 20s reflect on their life over a game of handball. Is grass always greener on the other side?
