On Halloween Eve, enter a mystical sacred forest filled with the frights and delights of Japan’s legion of obake and yokai—ghosts, goblins and otherworldly creatures — and experience the richness of Japan’s fall festivals. Activities for the day include a tsukumogami haunted house, samurai and taiko performances, a variety of arts and crafts, photo opportunities (wear your costume!) and more.
