Chen Dance Center announces its 2014 Lantern Festival performances, the culminating event of the Lunar New Year festivities. The family-friendly evening will begin at 7 PM with pre-show activities and refreshments, along with lanterns with riddles for the audience members to solve. The performance will begin at 7:30 PM and feature two romantic duets by choreographer H.T. Chen and an excerpt from his new work “South of Gold Mountain,” based on the Chinese immigrants that settled in the American south before WWII.
