Walasse Ting Curator Talk & Book Launch

Please join Alisan Fine Arts for a talk and book launch to celebrate Walasse Ting: Parrot Jungle, the catalogue accompaniment to Ting’s exhibition currently on view at NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale. This is the first institutional presentation dedicated to the artist to be hosted in the United States. It is organized by the museum’s curator, Ariella Wolens.

The event will take place at Alisan Fine Arts’ newly opened gallery space in New York, located at 120 East 65th Street from 2-4 p.m., where the inaugural exhibition, Walasse Ting: New York New York is open through to February 16, 2024.

The event will feature a talk between Ariella Wolens and Mia Ting, daughter of the artist. Advanced copies of the catalog will be available for those in attendance. Like the art of Ting, it is sure to be a joyous and lively event.
