On Sep 20th and 21st, Yin Yue Dance Company, a New York City based contemporary dance company will share the stage of Peridance Center with 25 dancers from Jiangxi Zhongshan Dance School, an award-winning professional dance school located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China, brought with them authentic Chinese classical dance, Chinese folk dance as well as Chinese culture inspired ballet work. An evening of dance performances from Chinese female choreographers from China and United States.

Yin Yue Dance Company is a New York City based contemporary dance company led by choreographer Yin Yue. She was winner for Northwest Dance Project 5th Annual Pretty Creatives International Choreographic Competition and residence choreographer at LAUNCH:8 in 2013 and was commissioned by the company for its season in 2014. Yin was finalist and grant recipient in The A.W.A.R.D. Show! 2010: New York City, which was presented by The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc. Jiangxi Zhongshan Dance School is a private run professional dance school established in 1996 and located in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China. The school currently has 6-years Chinese dance program and ballet program. The school has received many rewards for outstanding performance and choreography from high level national professional dance competitions.
